To do

Thought for today:

Today, make sure whoever you come into contact with doesn't go away empty handed.  They should feel that they've gained something from the interaction.

Find something to share that will benefit them and make them feel better.  It doesn't have to be a physical object, it could be an encouraging word, a solution or even a positive thought or a good wish.

I like this quote, and by the way, the reason I write the quote of the day every morning is so I remember it and therefore try and do something positive with it!

To do today (some things to catch up on)

  • Renew library books.
  • Organise home office space.
  • Do food plan for the week.
  • Go go the gym.
  • Choose blog name.
That's all folks.

A cool article:

That is a good article. The trouble is, Americans are complacent. They have their heads in their electronic gadgets all day, so they never see what is going on around them. Then they watch idiot "reality" shows at nite, so again, no clue. The reality is, we can't do a thing to change govt. Democracy my arse. Even if those elected go in with the best intentions, the far right will always put a stop to it. When was the last time you saw Americans take to the streets, like they did in Briton?

I think it's the same in the UK..although we took to the streets it certainly wasn't for political reformation. Some of the interviews done with the people who rioted, they didn't even know who was "in power"!

I think the solution is to ignore the government, stop paying taxes and make our own communes where money and material possessions aren't the center of our world, happiness is!
